| Discussion: The configuration of UpdateIP is actually very simple and straightforward, both in Windows and MacOS.
1. (For both Mac and Windows) Go to the Options/Settings screen and enter your Username and Password, as well as the JUMP 'label' that you wish to update with this software.
2. (For Windows Only) Click on the 'General' tab in the Options screen and select the appropriate Jump TYPE. There are two default options, HTTP and FTP, as well as an OTHER box where you may enter any other protocol prefix.
3. (For Windows Only) If you are behind a Network Address Translator (NAT) or a firewall, check the 'I am behind a NAT' checkbox.
